Do you think Volunteering Rocks?

We do, so thanks from a little help from our friends, we are joining with organisations across Australia to celebrate National Volunteering Week.

We are pleased to invite you, our members, friends and allies to join with us on:

Sunday May 27th 12.30 till 2.30pm

Come along and help us celebrate with our volunteers and enjoy a free lunch.

RSVP by phone/email by Friday 25th May for catering purpose.

January 2018 Update

Welcome to the first update for Recovery Rocks Community for 2018!

Our organisation has been busy working on preparing reports and organising our 2017-2018 AGM & Networking Event.  If you like to attend please click here to find out more details.

This AGM shall be the first AGM under our new constitution which can be found here.

As part of the new constitution, we have changed our membership forms which shall now be based on a Financial Year (as apposed to the previous calendar year).  Our membership subscriptions have also been amended to help Recovery Rocks Community become more sustainable with our administration costs and services we provide to our members.  You can view our new membership forms here.

Our Pay It Forward grant, provided by Connect Groups to establish a volunteer program has been finalized.  The story of our journey has been published by Connect Groups and can be found here  (see story 13 in their publication).  Volunteer positions will be advertised in the near future, so keep connected to our website to be informed once advertised.

Our website development skills are slowly improving and we hope to have more features in the future and endeavour to blog more often.  So please check this site frequently, or click on the “follow” button below to get email updates of our content
