Every incorporated association needs a set of rules under which to operate; that is what a constitution is all about; a set of rules and guidelines, a map to enable us to navigate the labyrinth of legislative requirements associated with the day to day running of our community.

Since incorporation in 2014, Recovery Rocks Community has been operating under a Constitution.

A new constitution was approved at a Special General Meeting on 22nd October 2017 and submitted to the Western Australian Government Department of Mines, Industry Regulation, Safety and Consumer Protection for approval. They then informed us that our new constitution had been approved, and it has been lodged effective as of the 5th of December 2017.

Our previous constitution is now obsolete. You can access an online copy of our new constitution here  or email us with your request for a hard copy, including your postal details, and we will send out a copy.  (Go to our Contact page  here   if you need to.)

We recognise that for some people our constitution may be a bit overwhelming to read and difficult to understand. Unfortunately that is the nature of constitutions and despite our efforts to make it as simple and user friendly as possible we admit it is still very wordy.

So, if you have any questions about our constitution or require assistance with reading or understanding it, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and a Recovery Rocks Community Inc. Management Committee Member will be in touch.
