RRCi is also pleased to announce we have updated our site and included a ‘Volunteers’ page; another avenue people in our community can to support, further develop our community and be active community participants.
We encourage everyone to read about the different ways people can volunteer with us and learn more about our ‘Onboarding Process’; to introduce our new volunteers to our organisation and create a better understanding of our values and purpose, and also the gain necessary knowledge and skills required in the volunteer roles.

Our latest Annual General Meeting (AGM) and network meeting had turned out to be our most productive and successful meeting to date. Our Annual Report was received and accepted by our members with appreciation, and our new Management Committee has been selected. The new executive positions to be allocated at our next Management Committee meeting in March.
At the conclusion of our AGM everyone had the chance to relax and enjoy the vast selection of food on offer for lunch, to catch up with friends and get to know new members and those whom had attended to learn more about our organisation.
The Management Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all who volunteered, helped to prepare documents and reports, welcomed attendees and coordinated the after event lunch. Without all your support this AGM would not have been the success it was. We also would like to thank everyone who came to dedicate their day towards supporting our organisation and showing interest in learning what our organisation has been doing within the past year to meet the needs of our members.
A BIG Thank you to ALL!
As a side note, a quick update on the new content you may find on our website. We have added our latest Annual Report and our 2018-2019 Strategic Plan. You may find these documents within our Publication pages or click on the images below.

There is only 13 more days to go (AGM DATE: February 25th) and the management committee are busy little bees right now, working hard to finalize the Annual Report and other information we feel will benefit our members. We’re eager to catch up and share with all our members information about the range of tasks we have achieved last year and excited to make a few announcements of upcoming activities and initiatives for 2018.
Your welcome to bring your family, friends or anyone else who is interested to learn more about Recovery Rocks Community Inc. It’s a great opportunity to network with each other and get to learn more about what each new management committee candidate can bring to our organisation (over a relaxed shared meal). The management committee candidates are also eager to meet our members, to learn more about each member and what they feel are important matters the organisation should address.
Lets make this year’s AGM the largest number of Recovery Rock member attendees in history.
Don’t forget to RSPV your interest to attend by calling 044 764 1122 or emailing email@example.com

Shall see you there!
Our Weekly Support Group has moved to a new day!
Previously, our support groups were held on every Monday, but have now been changed to every Thursday (same time and venue), from the 8th February 2018. Please check out our Support Group page here for more details.
Also don’t forget our Recovery Rocks Community Networking Event & AGM is just around the corner on Sunday February 25th, 2018 at 1.30pm. For more details see our events page here. It’s a great opportunity to see what Recovery Rocks Community Inc. has been doing in 2017, meet up with fellow peers and update your membership details (if needed).
This update also includes some information about some changes to our site. We have added a new ‘Publications’ section in the menu, where you can not only download our current and past newsletters but also download our past AGM Reports. These reports are not only important documents for members to feel assured the organisation has been managed with their best interests in sight. They are also a valuable historical documentation, to show how much our community has grown since it was first incorporated in 2014. I hope you have as much fun seeing our growth (and maybe reminiscing in the past) as I did when I went back and read them.
Welcome to the first update for Recovery Rocks Community for 2018!
Our organisation has been busy working on preparing reports and organising our 2017-2018 AGM & Networking Event. If you like to attend please click here to find out more details.
